Religion comes from the Latin reconnect. As humans we seem to have forgotten that we are always connected to the greater whole, to what some religions call God, Allah or Great Spirit. A religion offers tools and opportunities to become aware of this connection again. The word religion therefore is not the right word since we are already connected, we just seem to have forgotten it.
